The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild amiibo Collection – Link (Rider), Link (Archer), Zelda, Bokoblin, Guardian

The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild is here, and with it come a whole new slew of legendary amiibo have joined the fray! With Link now donning blue over green, there is a little freshness to enjoy here, a welcome addition after Smash Link, Smash Toon Link, 8-Bit Link, Wind Waker Link, and Ocarina of Time Link. You can only handle so much green plastic on a shelf.

The new Link likes to ride around on his horse, it’s a large world out there after all. Also ideal for running away from gigantic deadly enemies, especially those of the cuddly nature. They just smother you with cuteness.

The new terrifying Guardian enemy also gets its own amiibo, with flexible legs you wouldn’t dare mess with in fear of snapped plastic. Still, despite the Guardian’s bulk, it isn’t the biggest amiibo of them all…

Though big enough for Archer Link to have a crack at. If only glued plastic moulds could fly, this would be an eye shot!

Though the princess does not make the perfect target. Archer Link just wants to greet her, but his arms are forever stuck in such a pose. It’s a hard life being an amiibo.

And here we have a Bokoblin, the scrub enemy of Breath of the Wild, relaxing with the scrub enemy of the Kirby series, Waddle Dee. The two have long accepted their roles as cannon fodder, and appreciate the fact that they became amiibo before the Goomba. Maybe the Bokoblin will be the lead character for the upcoming Breath of the Wild expansion story, taking revenge for all the beatings his hoard has received? Wouldn’t that be wild?

As for what these new amiibo do… scan them for a daily dose of loot.

It’s the little things that count.
